Renowned conductor, composer, and performer Claude Choe began receiving international attention at the Salerno International Film Festival in Italy in 1993 where his ‘Une Poignee de Temps’ won the Best Film Music Award among 200 international nominees from 120 countries. Now, Choe’s own compositions are best-known in movie and television drama soundtracks, often performed by orchestras.

Choe will be performing classical and original romantic pieces on classical guitar at Kootenai Brown Pioneer Village (KBPV) in Pincher Creek on the evening of Friday, September 30.  Doors open at 7 pm and the concert begins at 7:30.  Please don't disrupt the concert by arriving late.
This will be a ticketed event with limited seating, costing $10.00 per person.  Choe will be autographing copies of his CDs after the performance, and a wine bar will be available.
Choe's performance is only one aspect of the many events being staged throughout Pincher Creek to celebrate Alberta Arts Days, which runs from September 30 to October 2, 2011.
