Sr. Girls Basketball: Hawks vs Pandas

Matthew Halton's Senior Girls Hawks had a relatively easy time of it in their game against the Crowsnest Consolidated Pandas on Thursday evening, February 8.  The Pandas dominated throughout, ultimately winning the game by a score of 54-29.


"We had a couple really good fast breaks," said Hawks Coach Tanis French after the game. "Everybody got out onto the floor this game." #13 Laressa McGlynn was top scorer for the Hawks with 14 points.  #4 Malorie Goasdue was not far behind with 10 points.  Pandas' #6 Meagan Flannery put in a major 13 point effort for her team.

"Player of the game was a hard choice today," said French.  "There were about 6 players within four points of each other. It went to Alyssa Barbero," French continued.  "She takes constructive critisism well, applies it to the game, and gives 150%."
