Missing youth found

Update: Wood Buffalo RCMP have located Amber Matthews. The police confirmed her safety at approximately 5:00 pm today and would like to thank anyone who provided information as to her whereabouts.

The Wood Buffalo RCMP are looking to the public for assistance in locating a 16 year-old female who was declared as missing on June 8, 2012 from the Fort McMurray area. Amber Rose Matthews was last reported to have been seen in the morning on June 7, 2012, and is described as follows:
• 168 cm tall, weighing approximately 58 kg
• thin build
• blue eyes
• shoulder length streaked brown/blond hair

Amber Matthews may be in the company of male in his 30s, and may be traveling in an older model blue SUV with a white roof. Out of concern for safety police are asking that anyone with information as to her whereabouts please contact the nearest police detachment.
