Piikani Nation RCMP reports 2 vehicle collision on Highway 3

Piikani Nation RCMP, Fire and Ambulance responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 3 at 9:50 pm on July 10, 2012.  Two vehicles side-swiped near Range Road 280 on the Piikani Nation reserve.  


The male driver in one vehicle and a female driver and a female passenger in the other vehicle were taken to hospital with non life threatening injuries.  Highway 3 was detoured for several hours while an investigation was conducted.  


The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
