The Community Foundation of Lethbridge and Southwestern Alberta is now accepting grant applications for the Fall 2012 Community Impact Grants period. The application period will remain open until Friday, September 14 at 4:00 pm.
Eligible organizations must be registered with the Canada Revenue Agency, or provide a service through a municipality. Grant applications, as well as more information on eligibility and funding criteria, are available on the foundation website at www.cflsa.ca. The foundation staff is available to assist organizations with the grant application process at 403-328-5297.
With two granting cycles per year, the foundation focuses on awarding grants in four key areas: Basic and Special Needs, Healthy Living, Community Vitality, and Arts and Culture. The foundation supports organizations throughout southwestern Alberta, from the U.S. border north to Nanton and from the B.C. border east to Grassy Lake.
“The funding for our Community Impact Grants is generated from the investment income of permanent endowments established by generous donors.” said Barb Cavers, Board President. “This granting program allows the foundation to identify and support a wide range of community projects and to truly make a difference in southwestern Alberta.”
