Crestview Lodge honoured Resident Coordinator Sharron Scott for 20 years of service on Friday afternoon, August 10. The room was awash in pink hues as residents were dressed in Scott's favourite colour for the occasion.Sharron began working at Crestview in August of 1992, working the night shift as housekeeper and cook at that time.
Pincher Creek Foundation CAO and Facility Manager Millie Loeffler acted as MC for the event. "I think I can speak on behalf of all the staff when I tell you that Sharron has a wonderful and unique sense of humor," Loeffler said. "There's been more than one occasion when we leave the coffee room or lunch break time with tears running down our faces because we had such a good time and shared some funny stories."
"Setting aside her sense of humour though, Sharron is very serious about caring for the residents here, and their needs," Loeffler continued. She does offer help and guidance every single day, and she's all too willing to help whenever she's asked, as you all know, she will do almost anything for you. She's the most selfless kind person that I know."

The management and staff performed a humourous tribute to Sharron, a bawdlerized version of "She'll be coming around the mountain" composed by Edna and Barb, to much laughter.
Loefller then made a presentation to Sharron on behalf of the staff, which included earrings and a spa gift certificate.
Roy Smyth made a presentation to Sharron on behalf of the Town and MD of Pincher Creek, the Village of Cowley, and the Pincher Creek Foundation board. "Crestview Lodge has achieved a high success rate in this community for providing a home-life atmosphere, super food, and everything that we've got."
"Thank you, and keep it up Sharron."

The Fitzpatricks capped the event with their toe-tapping music.
Throughout, the genuine fondness and appreciation of the residents and staff for Sharron Scott was evident, as was the spirit that transforms Crestview from mere mortar and paint into a real community.

Thanks! As always a good job.
