Red Deer City RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 38 year old Curtis Troy Sear of Red Deer Alberta. A Province wide Warrant for the Arrest of Sear has been issued.
On August 08, 2012 the RCMP Emergency Response Team (ERT) was deployed in support of local officers, to a residence in the Deer Park neighbourhood to arrest Sear. After obtaining a search warrant to enter the residence, property believed to be stolen property was located but Police did not locate Sear.
Sear had been released in October 2011 following a 4 year federal sentence for Forcible Confinement, Careless Use of a Firearm, Utter Threats to Cause Death / Harm, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 and Mischief. Sear is wanted for possession of stolen property and other warrants. His current whereabouts are unknown but he was last seen in Red Deer Alberta.
Sear has an extensive criminal history dating back to the early 90's which includes 58 criminal convictions for Armed Robbery, Assault with a Weapon, Possession of an Unregistered Restricted Weapon, Forcible Confinement, Careless Use of a Firearm, Uttering Threats, Break and Enter, Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Escape Lawful Custody, Fail to Remain at the scene of an Accident, Possession of a Weapon, Possession of a Scheduled Substance, Parole Violator and Theft.
If located, Sear should not be approached as he is considered possibly armed and dangerous.

Sear is described as 185 cms (6'1"), 98 kgs (217 lbs), short red hair and hazel eyes. Sear may have a shaved head and has numerous tattoos on his neck and arms, including a Swastika and the letters “ACAB” across his right hand knuckles. Sear may also be wearing glasses.
