Drive One 4 UR School event to be held September 29

Friends of St. Michael's together with Matthew Halton Booster Club have teamed with Castle Ford to bring you this fundraising event on September 29th, 2012 from  9 am to 5 pm.  We need one person from each household to come and test drive a Ford at the Ranchland Mall parking lot.  For each test drive Ford will donate $20 to our schools.  Please plan to drive on September 29th.

If we can get 300 people from different physical addresses then we will receive $6,000 from Ford Canada.

Our school systems cannot support some activities like they used to therefore the objective of both the Mathew Halton Booster Club and Friends of St. Michael's School is to enhance educational opportunities and support educational experiences for all our students.  Along with supporting extra-curricular activities like sports, the arts, leadership & citizenship both organizations assist with funding for buses which becomes a big help for teams & teachers taking students on field trips.

Without the good people at Castle Ford and Ford Canada we would not have the opportunity to bring the community together, drive a Ford, and have your local schools walk away with funding to support our objective. 

A big thank you to Co-op for the use of the parking lot and for their donation of food for the concession which will be serving hot dogs and hamburgers from 11-3 on September 29.
