Athlete of the day, October 16, 2012: John Walker

John Walker is a member of Pincher Creek's Bantam Mustangs.  He is plays Offensive and Defensive Tackle, and sometimes plays Centre.  He's in his third year of football.  John was nominated for athlete of the day for his stellar efforts during the Bantam Mustangs' away game against Taber last weekend.  He put in an exceptional effort and showed a much improved sense of teamwork in that game.

13 years old, John is a Grade 8 student at Matthew Halton High School, and in his spare time he enjoys deer hunting.
