Fort Macleod's F.P. Walshe 'A' Flyers were in Pincher Creek last weekend for the 2012 Matthew Halton Junior Girls Volleyball tournament, winning top honours in their division after a closely contested Final game against St. Mary's. The Flyers earned their win the hard way, with two days of well-played volleyball, solid teamwork, and good sportsmanship.
Incidentally, last season's 'A' Flyers won the South Western Junior High Athletic Association championship, which was held here in Pincher Creek last November.
