The Thunder bench had 12 players facing off against 17 Chinooks. Both teams have been having an uneven season when it comes to the scoreboard. From the first whistle of this game it was also obvious that both teams came to play.  The score was tied multiple times, and the Chinooks closed a big gap to be one point away from tying it again in the last 6 minutes of play.  The Thunder won 12-8, but not without working hard for it throughout the game.

Have you emailed Santa yet?

Screen cap from Norad Tracks Santa site
Santa Claus is still accepting mail for a few days before Christmas. Traditionalists are invited to write him an old fashioned letter, addressed to Santa Claus, North Pole, H0H 0H0, Canada. Include your return address on the envelope so Santa can write back to you.

At www.aletter4santa.com you can email Santa directly and get a response right away, no email address of your own required. That site seems to work best using something other than Google Chrome, by the way.

Santa’s Corner (click here) on the Canada Post website is publishing letters to Santa and the Letter 4 Santa Facebook page (click here) has more fun stuff as well.

If you want to track Santa's rapid progress on his annual route you can tune in to the Norad Tracks Santa website (click here).  It's been massively improved this year.  Very groovy.

If you made too many cookies for Santa, feel free to drop them off at the Pincher Creek Voice office during regular business hours. (Just kidding, our office is closed from now until after Christmas.)

Merry Christmas everyone, cherish each other.
