Lethbridge Regional Police have not yet located a missing 28-year-old woman and her eight-month-old son and continue to ask anyone with information to come forward.

Lizzie Across the Mountain and her son, Wylie Weasel Mocassin, were last seen in Lethbridge on January 17.  Police are aware of posts on social media sites indicating Across the Mountain and her son are safe, however investigators have not been able to confirm this information.  Investigators are appealing to Across the Mountain to contact police directly so arrangements can be made to confirm the well-being of her and her son.

Photos of Across the Mountain and Weasel Mocassin have now been obtained and are included for release.

Anyone with information on Across the Mountain and Weasel Mocassin’s whereabouts is asked to contact police at 403-328-4444.

At this time there is no evidence to suggest foul play.

Police also wish to thank Blood Tribe Police for their assistance in relation to this ongoing investigation.
