A win and a loss to end season for Atom Chinooks

Pincher Creek's Atom Chinooks played two playoff games against Picture Butte's Blades last weekend.  The Chinooks won the first game 8-5 on home ice on Saturday, March 7.  The Blades won the second game 8-2, which was held the next day at the Picture Butte rink. The playoff series was best-of-two, and the Blades won on combined points, earning them the right to move on to face Raymond in the upcoming Spud League Atom A finals.

Riley Potts scored a hat trick for the Chinooks during Saturday's game.  Also scoring for the Chinooks during that game were Drew Stuckey (2 goals), Cory Dyck, Rhett Fitzpatrick, and Shenoa Jessen.  Getting assists for the Chinooks were Aidan Potts (2), Riley Potts (2), Jaron Scotton, Cory Dyck, Travis Bastien, Drew Stuckey, Rhett Fitzpatrick, and Cory Dyck.  Scoring for the Blades in that game were Logan Hillaby and Nicholas Rudelich with two apiece, and Ryan Holm.  Blades assists went to Hillaby (2), Hunter Vanvaerenbergh, Karsen Haney, Quade Vanden Dungen, Jaxon Nault, and Ryan Holm.
