Pincher Creek Emergency Services (PCES) responded to a barn fire off of Highway 6, approximately a quarter mile southwest of Twin Butte Hall, at approximately 4:30 pm today, Saturday, March 14. Chief Dave Cox reported that there were no injuries but the structure was "a total loss". He said the wind did not spread the fire as there was no vegetation or other fuel around the structure, however the wind may have sped up how quickly it burned.  The structure was fully engaged when PCES arrived.

At this point in time the cause of the fire is under investigation.

One ambulance, a Tender, Engine 43 and Engine 11 responded from Pincher Creek. Cowley Tender and Beaver Mines Engine 31 also responded.
