Pincher Creek's Hawks hosted Magrath's Zeniths at Sproule Field on the evening of May 7.  The Zeniths earned a 13-1 victory, scoring 8 unanswered runs in the second inning.

Pitching was sharp for both teams, with Michael Svab and Mitchell Zoratti taking the mound for the Hawks and Paycen Blackmore pitching for the Zeniths in a game that ran only 5 innings, most of them short,  before being decided.  The lone Hawks run came from Deloy Mackenzie.  Fielding was less than consistent for both teams, and errors cost the Hawks dearly.  On the plus side, the Hawks are making contact with the ball more consistently at bat, and are batting and fielding smarter in general.

The Hawks have two wins and four losses so far this season, with three regular season games to go.

Upcoming Hawks schedule:

Thursday May 14 - Home (Sproule Field) at 5:30 vs Hawks
Tuesday May 19 - Home (Sproule Field) at 5:30 vs Claresholm Cobras
Thursday May 21 - Away at 5:30 vs Fort Macleod Flyers
High School Provincials - May 29/30 TBD
