On the evening of Friday, August 14th, many families went to the annual family dance, now held at Town Hall Park. The event was hosted by the Town of Pincher Creek Recreational Department.

There was a bouncy castle, music played by Sound Barrier Entertainment, food from Group Group Youth to be purchased, and also a shaved ice booth. Tattoos, face painting, a photo booth and a limbo competition made up the event.

Kids were running around as crocodiles, butterflies and more while having a great time dancing to the rhythm of songs. The bouncy castle was probably one of the biggest hits, with many kids waiting in long lineups to jump around.

A limbo contest was started, and almost everyone got low and participated. A little while later rain started to come down but it didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits, as everyone continued to have fun. After the street dance there was a movie in the park , “Shark Tale”.

Without all of the volunteers, the Street Dance wouldn’t be held so thank you to all of the volunteers who contributed their time into helping with this event!
