CNP/Pincher Bantam hockey tournament to be held this weekend in Coleman

The Crowsnest Pass/Pincher Creek Bantam Ducks will be hosting their home tournament this weekend at the Crowsnest Sports Complex in Coleman commencing on Friday November 13 at 6:45 pm against the Foothills Flyers. On Saturday they play against 12:00 against the Airdrie Lightning starting at noon, and against the Cochrane Rockies at 8:00 pm. On Sunday they play at 10:00 am against the Oktotoks Oilers. The tournament final will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday.

A quick plug her for the CNP Novice Thunder - they will be hosting their home tournament at the Coleman rink November 21/22.

Last weekend the Bantam Ducks defeated Chestermere 6-1 on Saturday, and were defeated 7-3 by Redcliff on Sunday.  

Spencer Dorge score two unassisted goals for the Ducks in their win against Chestermere and also picked up an assist and a game misconduct. Sante Canderan also scored twice for the Ducks, one of those on a powerplay. Also scoring for the Ducks in that game were Hunter Gudmundson and Matthew Merritt. Additional assists came from Lyndon Ewen, Easton Fitzpatrick, Sam Jordan, and Jace Lewis. The first goal of the game was from Chestermere's Jared Quast, assisted by Harjaap Dhanda.  Jace Lewis score two unassisted goals for the Ducks in their game against Redcliff, one of those on a powerplay, and Matthew Merritt scored one unassisted goal for the Ducks.
