Chinooks Manager Lisa Stuckey explained that this was a win for the Chinooks, and that they are advancing to the next round of provincial playoffs. "Our league playoffs start next week." Stuckey said she's happy with the way the Atoms have been playing this season. "They've been fantastic." She said she's a fan of her kids playing hockey. "They've improved a lot. They've come along this year. Their skills are getting better, their positional play is getting better, their backchecking, their forechecking, and defense is doing well. They've really come along."
The Atom Chinooks will face Foremost in the zone final for provincials, who coincidentally they also will be playing in their first round of playoffs. Action starts Friday at 7:30 at the MCC arena.
