2016 annual She Nooks tournament

Pincher Creek vs Medicine Hat
Josh Davis - Pincher Creek's She-Nook hockey team hosted a recreational tournament at the MCC Arena on Saturday, March 12. Teams in attendance included Vulvan, Sparwood, Pincher Creek, Fernie, Medicine Hat, and Calgary. Games were played in two 23 minutes periods, with a running clock, and floods between each game. This was the first She Nook game I've ever seen, and I must say the ladies were quite photogenic. The tournaments rules preventing body checking changed the types of shots I could take. The She Nooks played against Fernie, Calgary, and Medicine Hat, and lost all three games.

Atom Chinooks defeat Piikani in exhibition game

Josh Davis - On the evening of Saturday March 12, Pincher Creek's Atom Chinooks hosted Piikani at the MCC Arena for an exhibition game. The Chinooks handily defeated Piikani, earning a wide margin win. #9 Maddix Dyck, #4 Drew Stuckey, #10 Joah Randall, #12 Jaydon Draper, #14 Travis Bastien, #11 Jaxon Shenton, #3 Eric Radvak, and #15 Christian Potts each scored goals in the game. That means every member of the Chinooks present scored at least one goal, with the exception of Goalie #26 Zack Hann. Stuckey was the high scorer for the game, followed closely by Draper.
