Toni Lucas - Lundbreck's Livingstone School's 2016 graduation ceremonies were held at the Pincher Creek Community Hall the evening of Friday, May 6. The 12 graduands are Mary Blomgren, Eric Cadonic, Chris Cail, Ross Cook, Chelby Glen, Ryan Grove, Brandon Hilbert, Jayden Hucik, Morgan Nobles, Ethan Paridaen, Kori Sandeman, and Josee Wiebe.

The attending students looked mature in their finery. The students chose the theme 'Rockin' the 80's' and their quote was 'Where we're going, we don't need roads' from the movie Back to the Future. These young adults see themselves as carving their own path with the support, education and guidance they have received along the way.

The guest speaker was Melody Larson. Larson has worked at Livingstone School for a number of years.  Many of those on stage were in her class for grade one, and the class saw it fitting she be a large part in the graaduation ceremony for their time at Livingstone School. A slide show prepared by Joanne Verbaas displaying the students from youth until present day.

There were greetings from the Livingstone Range School Division (LRSD) Board  made by School Trustee Clara Yagos, and from LRSD Superintendent Dave Driscoll.  The pin presentation by Mary Krizan and presentation of scrolls by Principal, Chad Jensen. Mary Blomgren made the Valedictorian Speech. The evening ended with the Grand March followed by dancing.
