Lethbridge Bulls vs Hurricanes charity softball game to be held at Spitz Stadium June 1

Alzheimer Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories - “Batter Up” will be heard on June 1 for the third annual Lethbridge Bulls vs Hurricanes charity softball game. Gates open at at Spitz Stadium, Lethbridge at 6:00 pm, with good food, 50/50, raffle, face painting and meeting the players. 7 pm starts the Home Run Derby and the game will follow. Tickets are $15 each but if you buy 10 or more at the Alzheimer Society office they are only $10 each. Great idea to treat your staff, family, or friends to fun night out. “This is our Walk for Alzheimer’s kickoff event. Those who register for the walk before June 1 receive one free ticket from the society.

You can register at www.walkforalzheimers.ca or come to the Lethbridge Alzheimer’s Society office at #402, 740 – 4th ave south,” reports Diane Herrick Manager of Community Relations.


“The softball game is all about fun. Similar to last year, the mascots will be there Breann Urban will be singing the national anthem. New this year, there will be a raffle where you buy tickets and enter them in to win the prize you like. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Bulls, Hurricanes and the Alzheimer Society offices and they will be available for purchase at the gate on June 1st. It’s time to take me out to the ball game so get your tickets today!
