Expensive Head Smashed In Buffalo Jump sign vandalized for the third time

RCMP Alberta - Between July 29 and August 3, 2016 unknown person(s) vandalized the large welcome sign at the Head Smashed In Buffalo Jump National Historic Site west of Fort Macleod, Alberta. A firearm was used to shoot holes into the sign. It is the third occasion this has happened in the past two years. The sign is valued at approximately $200,000.

The Fort Macleod RCMP is looking for information with respect to the above noted offence and is asking anyone with information to report to the Fort Macleod Detachment by calling 403-553-7200 or by calling CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477(TIPS).
