^ Pincher Creek Mustangs with former Mustang and present University of Regina Rams Defensive Back Cord Delinte (#31) at the Methanex Bowl in Medicine Hat. The Mustangs watched the Rams in action against the University of Calgary Dinos before their own game.
In his first game playing at Quarterback, Beau Walter was the leading rusher with 5 carries for 137 yards. Bruce Kirby wasn't far behind with 134 yards. The O-line played strongly and opened big holes throughout the game. In total, 7 players carried the ball and also provided effective blocking. Liam VanEe was the leading receiver, snagging 3 of 4 for 34 yards.
The Defense was stingy. They created havoc for the Colts Quarterbacks all game by picking off 4 interceptions and tackling them in the backfield 3 times. They also made the Colts turn over the ball on downs on 4 occasions. Matthew Duncan, Nathan Baker and Logan Kaack were standouts on Defense. Kaack picked off a McCoy pass and ran it in for TD that sealed the game for the Mustangs.
Others scoring touchdowns were Beau Walter and Bruce Kirby. Placekicker, Liam VanEe, added the remaining points on point after conversions and a missed field goal.
