Are we alone?

Pastor Chris Ney - A loaded question right out of the gate, Are we alone? A question commonly asked by many, is there life beyond our little planet. Some spend their lives looking for signs of life beyond our own. Some of the time it is to have a reason for us to think there is something bigger then us. We look to the stars and for centuries millions have talked to a variety of gods, images, thoughts. Millions have spent a lifetime trying to find a supreme being that they can get close to, they have tried mediation, incense, sacrifices, and a variety of other ways to try and communicate with some kind of higher power, a god or gods.

People have done all of this for us to have a relationship and closeness with the one who created us. The awesome reality is that the one who actually created us wants to have a relationship with us. God desires for us to be able to find Him without a whole lot of steps, without having to spend countless hours growing in enlightenment, there is no special formula or breathing we must do, He opened the door by giving us His son. He did that so that we could have a relationship with Him, but also so that He could reveal Himself to us in a variety of ways. He has given us the open door to come anywhere, anytime, by just talking to Him.

As we are looking to the skies we don’t have to wonder if we are alone, we can know we are not. God there, He is always listening and does care greatly for each and everyone us, He cares so much He has the hairs counted on our heads. You are loved and have the best friend one could ever ask for in Jesus. All you have to do is go to Him, ask for forgiveness for all the things you have done, confess that He is Lord and believe that God has raised Him from the dead and you will be saved. You will have a relationship with the one who created it all, and you will know that there is life beyond us, but that He is not far away, He is as close, and just a prayer away.

You are not alone
