The dust has long settled on the 2012 Pincher Creek Pro Rodeo, and what a weekend it was!  Here are some of the highlights we haven't already covered over the last week.

Niki Flundra brought her award-winning heart-warming show back home to Pincher Creek, performing all three days of the rodeo for an enchanted audience.  Her spotlight Freedom Reins event was further brightened by the addition of young cowgirl Charlee Edge on Saturday.  Charlee is the daughter of bull rider Denton Edge. Other Flundra students also performed over the course of the weekend, demonstrating one thrilling trick after another.  Mountainview's Marlee and Taylor Jacobs, Emily Peebles, Onoway's Katie Conolley, and Dana Jenkins all took a spin in the spotlight to the unbridled appreciation of the crowds.

Kids love the Calf Scramble.  Windyview Mechanical upped the ante this year and gave out 8 bikes to the 2 kids from each of 4 heats that managed to snag a ribbon attached to a quick-hooved calf.
