Alberta Medical Examiner seeks Canadians' help to identify man

Can you identify this man?
Alberta’s Chief Medical Examiner is asking for the public’s assistance to identify a man whose body was found in Calgary on May 3, 2012.

The body of the adult male was found outside a building at 112 4th Avenue SW in Calgary. Despite efforts by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner and the Calgary Police Service to identify the man, he remains unidentified.

“We suspect that this man may not be from Alberta,” said Dr. Anny Sauvageau, Alberta’s Chief Medical Examiner. “By expanding our search nationally, we hope someone will recognize him. We would like to be able to contact his family to give them some closure.”

The man was wearing glasses, an aqua-blue coat, grey hoodie, beige sweater, white long-sleeve sweatshirt, white t-shirt, blue jeans, and white sport shoes. The man is of slight build, between 5 feet 6 inches and 6 feet in height, and weighing approximately 128 pounds. He has longer length light brown hair with some grey. He has brown eyes. He has no visible tattoos.

Anyone with information that might assist with identification is encouraged to call the Medical Examiner’s Office in Calgary at 403-297-8123.
