Canyon School has been working with Trickster Theatre to create a play based on 'The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People' called 'The Leader in All of Us!' during the week of November 25 - 29.  All age ranges at the school have been involved and have been learning the craft of creating and acting in a play, from the ground up.  They will be putting on a public performance on Friday, November 29, at 7:00 pm.

The school will be collecting non-perishable food items to donate to the CPR Holiday Train as admission to the show.  The school will be accepting donations during regular hours of operation until the arrival of the train on December 10.

The theme was chosen at Canyon School with input from the staff and students.

"We did have Trickster before - we think about 5 years ago," stated Teacher Coordinator Kathy Brown.  "They are an amazing, talented group of people that have inspired our kids and managed to get them to perform outside of their comfort zone - while having fun.  The students have loved the workshops and are so excited to see the gym with the special curtains, professional lighting, sound, etc."  Brown conveyed the excitement of the students.  "They are feeling very proud of themselves and excited to share their performance with everyone. A big thank you to the Parent Council for agreeing to help pay for this incredible experience."
