The Atom Chinooks goal scorers did not disappoint in the team's last game of 2014, with a decisive 7-3 win over the Irvine Bulldogs on Sunday December 28 at Pincher Creek's MCC arena. What was an exciting game wasn't seen much by one of Irvine's coaches after he was ejected from the game early in the first period for arguing with the ref after two players went crashing into the boards just prior to a goal that trickled through for the Chinooks.

Three players scored two goals each for the Chinooks - Jaron Scotton, Mayz Vance, and Cory Dyck. Cory also had an assist and had a few great chances off some impressive moves that put him on more than one breakaway. Drew Stuckey also had a goal and an assist for the Chinooks. Chinooks Travis Bastien and Colton Kirkman also earned assists.  Irvine's Blaire Hermann had a hat trick, scoring a goal in each period.

This win is what the Chinooks needed after coming off back to back losses the previous two weeks against Raymond and Picture Butte. It was a better showing for Irvine as well, having lost to the Chinooks 7-0 in late November. The Chinooks hope to continue their winning ways on the road, playing against Vauxhall on January 3rd then Warner on January 4th.
