The Canadian Professional Rodeo Association (CPRA) rolled into Pincher Creek last weekend for the well attended annual Pincher Creek Pro Rodeo.
The three day weekend, host by the Pincher Creek and District Agricultural Society, included the annual Pincher Creek parade (click here for that story), a Gymkhana for the younger cowgirls and cowboys, local Ranch Rodeo girls with returning Pincher Creek Rodeo Queen (and Miss Rodeo Canada contestant) Chelsea Stokke, and Liberty Horse Entertainers Niki Flundra and her son Ridge. Flundra and son participated in the honouring of the Canadian Flag and our veterans, represented by Pincher Creek's Lt. Commander Pierre Comeau (retired). Comeau was a military lawyer serving for the Judge Advocate General's Office of the Canadian Forces. Now he's a successful local lawyer and businessman.
