The 4th annual Pincher Creek Curling Club Golf Scramble was held on Saturday, September 12 and was intended to "put the fun back in fundraiser". There were two $10,000 prizes for holes in one on specific greens, and their tournament was set up as a dice golf scramble adding an element of luck into the scoring equation. The tournament had a good turnout of 16 teams of 4 people each. Organizer Rick Clark was busy before the event setting up goodie bags, and other donated prizes for draws and getting raffles set up. Clark said he was truly appreciative of all the donations local businesses had donated.
According to organizer Charlie Price this is the fifth year of the event. "The profits from this go towards building a new curling rink."
