Novice Chinooks begin season with a win on the road

Pincher Creek's Novice Chinooks began their season with an away 9-5 seeding round win against the Foremost Flyers last weekend.  Walker Anderson and Daxz Vance scored four goals apiece for the Chinooks in that game. Cashe Kropinak scored the other Chinooks goal and Talen Snow picked up an assist on one of Anderson's goals.


The Chinooks make their home ice debut at the MCC Arena on Saturday, October 31 with another seeding game, this time against Cardston  starting at 11:00 am starting at 9:00 am. The next day, November 1, they will be at the Crowsnest Sports Complex in Coleman to face the Thunder, starting at 9:30 am. For their first game of the season the Crowsnest Pass Thunder tied Raymond 1 at 10 apiece on October 24, and later the same day they defeated Cardston by a wide margin, so expect a very competitive game when they host the Chinooks.
