The Matthew Halton Sr. Boys Hawks basketball team hosted Kainai on December 14, and Piikani on December 16. Kaina's Warriors won 56-36 and Piikani won 75-51.

Tied for top scorers of the Hawks/Kainai game at 13 points each were Hawk Jack Mitchell and Kainai's Jaylin Good Striker and David Crow Chief. Hawk Mason Wolf Tail and Warrior Wyatt Buckskin each scored 10 points. Good Stirker and Mitchell were named Players of the Game.

Top scorer in the Hawks/Piikani game was Piikani Player of the Game Byron North Peigan with 39 points, followed by Jonny North Peigan with 18 points. Jack Mitchell was again top player and Hawks Player of the Game, and scored 17 points. Hawk Deloy Mackenzie scored 10 points. Hawks Ryan Plante and Jesse Crow Shoe scored 8 points each.

The Hawks are still looking for a win after 5 losses in 5 games so far this season.  Piikani's had a win and a loss, and Kainai is undefeated after 3 games.
