In a letter to the MD of Pincher Creek No. 9 dated December 14, 2015 Alberta Minister of Municipal Affairs Danielle Larivee announced additional funding for the Beaver Mines water and sewer servicing project.

"Under Budget 2015, (total) funding available this fiscal year has been increased to $56 million, from the$6 million previously announced. While total funding over the life of the program remains unchanged, the additional funds committed this year should help align funding with cash flows to the approved projects. We know this was a concern for some municipalities receiving SCF funding, and our government is pleased to address this with an increase in 2015/16."

"For 2015/16, additional funding of $1,616,549 has been approved for your Hamlet of Beaver Mines Water and Sewer Servicing project. This funding is in addition to the previous commitment of $187,147. Your new total funding in 2015/16 is $1,803,696."

In a separate letter to the MD Minister Larivee said the  RR 29-5 Cyr Road Project was approved for $337,175 in Gas Tax Fund (GTF) funding,  "Alberta is partnering with the Government of Canada to provide Gas Tax Fund (GTF) funding to assist with building strong, safe, and resilient communities."
