Christian Davis - Town of Pincher Creek councillor Wayne Elliott has nominated Pincher Creek's Memorial Community Centre Arena in the latest Kraft Hockeyville contest.

According to Elliott's submission, "The never say die attitude in this community is second to none. The commitment by the volunteer coaches and buy ins from the organizations is phenomenal. We have an enormous amount of banners hanging from the rafters that reminds the fans and players about the commitments to each other, and that reflects towards the whole community. We had a jersey day last year and it was amazing to see all the jerseys around town."

Another jersey day is planned for February 3 in Pincher Creek.

Elliott would like to see the Zamboni room moved across the arena away from foot traffic, which was planned several years ago but halted due to cost.
