Power outage affects 3,830 residences in Pincher Creek area

A power outage from 9:02 pm* Monday January 4 to 12:44 am Tuesday morning affected 3,830 residences in the communities of Pincher Creek, Brocket, Lundbreck, and Cowley. According to AltaLink spokesperson Peter Brodsky there was a mechanical failure at the substation and crews were sent to rectify the situation.
