Grose told council "It's really well used for young families, I find. That's the reason we want to upgrade the middle line on that bike track. It was definitely too advanced. When it was built, there was about a dozen really good riders that were using it, that could ride it. Now I'd say we are down to maybe three in town who could ride it."
Grose suggested the renovations to be contracted out, as Town Operations staff do not necessarily know the requirements of a bike track. Backcountry Trail Experts have been working in the Crowsnest Pass area and have have provided the Town with an estimate of $8850 plus GST to complete the Pump Track, and $5900 plus GST to complete the main jump line.
