Three arrested after southern Alberta crime spree

RCMP Alberta - On September 16, 2016, the Airdrie RCMP along with assistance of the Okotoks RCMP arrested three individual responsible for a recent string of property crimes and related thefts in the Southern Alberta area. The trio were found at an Airdrie Hotel, where police located and arrested them without incident.  All three accused, 28 year old Cole McLean of High River, Alberta, 32 year old Derek Mumford of Blairmore, Alberta, and 23 year old Paige Rist of Calgary, Alberta, were charged with numerous Criminal Code offences including S. 354, Possession of Stolen Property, as well as outstanding warrants.

No further information shall be provided by the RCMP at this time as the matter is before the court, however, should additional details become available during the course of this investigation, an updated media release will be issued.
