Fuel and tools stolen from truck near Fort Macleod

RCMP Alberta - On October 17th, 2016, a theft from a construction vehicle on Highway 3 East of Fort Macleod was reported to the Fort Macleod RCMP. The truck with flatbed was parked on a service road beside Highway 3 immediately before you cross the Old Man River bridge travelling East toward Lethbridge. Among items taken were chains, boomers, a fuel pump from a slip tank and approximately 800 Litres of diesel fuel. The theft occurred sometime during the weekend of October 15/16. It appears a pickup truck may have pulled off the Highway and parked behind the larger truck, partially obscuring the suspect vehicle from view.

The Fort Macleod RCMP is looking for information with respect to the above noted offence and is asking anyone with information to report to the Fort Macleod Detachment by calling403-553-7200 or by calling CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477(TIPS).
